1. Download Your LUTs
After purchasing, you will receive a ZIP file containing your LUT files.
Download the ZIP file to your Mac.
Unzip the file if needed.
Open the extracted folder and locate the LUT files.
LUT files are usually in .CUBE format.
2. Open Photoshop
Open Adobe Photoshop on your Mac.
Open the image you want to edit.
3. Add a Color Lookup Adjustment Layer
In the Layers panel, click the:
Adjustment Layer icon
Then choose:
Color Lookup
A new Color Lookup adjustment layer will appear above your image.
4. Load Your LUT
In the Properties panel, find the:
3DLUT File dropdown menu.
Click the dropdown and choose:
Load 3D LUT…
Browse to the folder where your Huliluts LUT files are saved.
Select the LUT file you want to use.
Click Open.
The LUT will instantly be applied to your image.
5. Adjust the LUT Intensity
If the LUT effect looks too strong, reduce the adjustment layer opacity for a more natural cinematic look.
You can also fine-tune your image using:
Exposure
Contrast
Highlights
Shadows
Temperature
Tint
Saturation
6. Combine with Other Adjustments (Optional)
For even better results, combine LUTs with Photoshop adjustment layers such as:
Curves
Levels
Selective Color
Brightness & Contrast
Camera Raw Filter
This gives you more control over your final cinematic look.
7. Save or Export Your Photo
When your editing is complete, save or export your image.
Go to:
File > Export > Export As
Choose your preferred:
Format
Image Size
Quality
Save Location
Then export your final image.
Tips for Best Results
Use high-quality RAW or high-resolution images for the best cinematic results.
Different lighting conditions may require additional adjustments after applying a LUT.
Try different Huliluts LUTs to find the perfect mood and visual style for your photo.
For a softer look, reduce the opacity of the Color Lookup layer.
